Artist's Comments
Well, Arc Systems Europe is holding a competition in creating official boxart for the Eutopean release of 'BlazBlue', and I decided to take a shot at it.
The artwork is downloaded from Arc Systems Europe (legally) for the purpose of being used in this competition. I haven't drawn these characters myself, but I've created the layout and the logotype is made by me (the emblem for the logo is official art, but the text and look is made by me). Phew, lots of legal stuff and all that. But I just want your opinion on it. Some things I know myself (like forgetting the white shadow in one place - see if you can find it) The text is also an issue, since it's the same colour as the background (I'm working on creating a gradient instead, to make it easier to read). Anyway, I'm generally happy with the result. I love the the mechanical-ish things in the BG. LOVE EM. -- But What if THiS...  B u t t e r f l y E f f e c t is D e f e c t ? Empty? Elaborate?
ARC systems seemed to want something a bit less 'crowded' since they refered back to the NeoGAF collection thread (were people made their own 'special edition' boxarts) but I dunno. Please elaborate? -- 僕の名前は気意原だ。 Yah, I know, you HATE it 8D
